NEW DELHI, APRIL 13: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the vacancies for SSC Stenographer 2018 Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ posts. A total of 1,201 vacancies have been announced for the year 2018 recruitment. Out of total 1,201 vacancies, 505 posts are available for Grade ‘C’ and 696 posts for Grade ‘D’ recruitment.
SSC Stenographer 2018 computer-based examination (CBE) was conducted from February 5 to 8, 2019. As per the previous notice released by SSC, the result of CBE will be declared on April 15, 2019. SSC Stenographer result will be available online in pdf format. The commission has released the answer key along with the response sheet of CBE on March 8, 2019. Candidates were able to raise their objection against the answer key from March 8 to 11, 2019.
Candidates who will qualify the CBE will be eligibile to appear for Skill Test/Document Verification (DV). The second stage of selection process i.e skill Test/ DV is qualifying in nature. Only those candidates who will qualify Skill test/DV will be shortlisted for final recruitment. SSC will also release the final merit list based on which candidates will be appointed to the posts they have applied for.
SSC Stenographer 2018 exam is conducted for the appointment of Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Stenographer in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.
